The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Invent It

María Sol Safronchick took part in the National Public Speaking Competition Mrs. Mabel Mazzini Thophy organized by the English Speaking Union, which took place on April 11th 2018 at the British Embassy in Buenos Aires.

Thirty two pupils from different bilingual schools had to prepare a speech on “The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Invent it”.

María Sol, who represented Saint Alban's College, called her topic “Sailing”. It was an enjoyable and stimulating experience for her as well as for her teacher, Ms. Vivian Mac Iver, who helped her to acquire a sense of confidence and stand in front of an unknown audience. María Sol expressed herself beautifully! Congratulations!
